In every shadow
Cat seemed to shudder at Catyas touch and quickly stood up and took a backstep away. Mist watched them both with an impassive impression as the bruises and cuts on his face healed. He then glanced at Nuel and gave a grimace as Nuel then appeared next to him. Nuel then glanced at Catya and spoke.
"Seems you now know secrets that were not to be known, be thankful your quest is too important here, but after things are done me and you will be having a discussion. You are to make sure no harm comes to Mist, he has his own important work to be done".
Mist seemed to ignore this as he brushed himself down before he knelt dpwn and pressed his hand to the ground and closed his eyes, the dust seemed to swirl around his hand before suddenly the dead forest seemed to glow and suddenly the grass began to erect from the ground, the trees shedding their dead bark to show living bark underneath, the leafs sprouting from the branches until the forest was now like the rest, full of life and the dark essence had now faded away.
Mist stood up and flexed his hand, a blue glow now appearing before fading away entirely, He then looked at Catya and spoke.
"This area is safe now, we must now proceed onwards, there is a village roughly two miles from here. We will be meeting Reaver and Zealot there. The road to the other Mist is only a further four miles and then we will see how this ends. This battle will be nothing compared to fighting the other Mist".
Mist then continued walking and Cat gave a small smile to Catya before she followed. Nuel grimaced at Catya before he also followed but had now shifted form to a large wolf with pitch black fur and deep green eyes.

Catya frowned slightly when Cat retreated from beside her, but her head flicked to Nuel as he spoke. Her frown only deepened.
"I know that Mist could somehow purge memories from his own mind, whether by his power or some granted to him. When all is said and done, I would have memories of what's to come in my future erased, if you don't mind. I'd rather not accidentally change your plans.
Catya's eyes grew wide as the life returned around them, and a great weight seemed to lift from her chest like a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding.
She wasn't sure what awaited them in the village but they continued nonetheless. The closer they grew to the end, the more uncertain she became. This was not a great time for self doubt, and she pushed those feelings down deep into her gut.
